If you have never bought a pearl before, buy these. They are from the same February lift as the Ise Strand and graded to the same standard — the only difference is that there are two of them instead of sixty-two, so you are not paying for eight months of matching.
The two are matched to within 0.05mm and share an overtone, which is more than most stud pairs at four times the price manage.
Posts are solid 18k yellow gold with a friction back. We will fit screw backs at no charge if you ask.

Ago Bay
Ise-Shima, Mie Prefecture, Japan — Pinctada fucata martensii — akoya oyster. Akoya are the small, white, brilliantly reflective pearls most people picture when they hear the word. The bay they come from is cold in winter, and the cold is the point: the oyster slows down and lays nacre in finer layers, which is what produces that hard, mirror-like surface.
